A proposal to rezone 10 acres of Hyde Park Village for more residential and retail 6 p.m. Thursday, City Hall, City Council chambers, 315 E Kennedy Blvd., Tampa A developer has big plans to remake the upscale shopping and residential complex, but some neighbors say the plans conflict with the nature of the historic district.

Pinellas County Schools

The School Board will meet to discuss the new student assignment plan. A workshop is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a regular board meeting at 5 p.m. Conference Hall in the Administration Building, 301 Fourth St. SW, Largo. Board members will hash out final details on the plan at the workshop and vote on it at the meeting. St. Petersburg
