Two men punch clerk, rob store

TAMPA - A 34-year-old clerk was assaulted Tuesday when two men entered a Family Dollar store and grabbed wads of cash from her register, police say. The incident happened at the Family Dollar at 4978 E Busch Blvd. about 9:30 a.m. Surveillance video shows the men waiting in line, leaning over the counter and taking an undetermined amount of money from the clerk's register. One man punched the woman. Tampa police Cpl. Jared Douds said the employee received medical attention, but did not have life-threatening injuries.
