Wellness day offers classes in healthy ways

The Jewish Community Center of Pinellas County and the Sisterhood of Temple Beth-El will hold a Women's Wellness Day from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at 400 Pasadena Ave. S. Open to the public, classes that day will include Zumba, yoga, Pilates, tai chi and speed walking, short massages, senior exercise sessions and fitness assessments by personal trainers. The event is free for those who belong to both Temple Beth-El Sisterhood and JCC of Pinellas County; $5 for Temple Beth-El Sisterhood or JCC members; $10 for nonmembers. Call (727) 347-4522.

Church offers soup, carols and healing

Episcopalians plan Advent Festival

Calvary Episcopal Church, 1615 First St., will hold an Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols at 4 p.m. Sunday. The traditional service brings people together to hear Scriptures and sing favorite Advent and Christmas hymns.

Tots can have lunch with Santa

Christ United Methodist Church, 467 First Ave. N, will offer lunch with Santa at 11:30 a.m. Saturday; children's musical Christmas in Reverse at 6:30 p.m. Sunday; and organ concert at 6 on Christmas Eve.
