Lakewood United Methodist Church will hold a Blue Christmas Service at 7 tonight. The church, at 5995 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. S, is offering the service for those who are sad because of the loss of a loved one, a divorce, separation, loss of a job or any other reason. Christmas Eve carols

Jewish kids camp

The Chabad Jewish Center, 6151 Central Ave., will hold its Camp Gan Israel Winter Camp, for children ages 5 to 12, next Monday through Friday. The hours are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with individual day options and extended day care. Activities will include day trips for skating and strawberry picking.
