Christmas program at Ridge Manor United Methodist Church: A Christmas film will be shown from 6:45 to 9 p.m., 34350 Cortez Blvd., Ridge Manor. Community Christmas Celebration: Starting at 6 p.m., Rising Sun Cafe, 10 S Main St., Brooksville. This free event will include drama, a performance by Providence, a popular Christian band, and a Christmas sing-along. 848-0090.

Brooksville City Hall Art Gallery: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 201 Howell Ave. The winter exhibit, which runs through Feb. 12, features displays by the Hernando Quilters, Suncoast Ship Model Society, Spring Hill Camera Club and a new selection of poetry by Just Poets members; paintings by artists Tony Caparello, Glenna Cofran, Shirley Jacobson, Barbara Kerr, Alberto Juliano, Jessica Miller, David C. Roland and LeAnn Steen. On loan is a painting by Mexican-American muralist Oscar Romaro, courtesy of Telma Ott. Also, wood artisan Ray Pope has a display of his furniture creations.
