BROOKSVILLE

First United Methodist Church, 109 S. Broad St., will have a family friendly Christmas Eve service with children, candlelight and carols at 5:30 and a traditional candlelight and carol service at 7:30 p.m. Call 796-3363.

RIDGE MANOR

Ridge Manor United Methodist Church, 34350 Cortez Blvd., will show a Christmas movie, Seasons of the Heart, at 6:45 tonight. There will also be a time of singing carols. The Crippled Lamb will be available for viewing by children. Refreshments will be provided. Call 583-3770.

SPRING HILL

Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 235 Cobblestone Drive, will present a Christmas musical, Christmas Presence, at 6 tonight and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Call 683-0587.

Fellowship Community Church, 11250 Spring Hill Drive, will host the singing group Spiritual Odyssey in a Christmas concert at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. Call 686-4612.

Spring Hill Baptist Church, 3140 Mariner Blvd., will welcome evangelist Tim Lee for a series of services Jan. 13-16. He is a former Marine Corps sergeant and Purple Heart recipient from the Vietnam War. Sunday services will be at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Weeknight services will be at 7. A love offering will be taken. Suncoast Christian Church will meet at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall of Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd. A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be at 7 p.m.

St. Frances Cabrini Council of Catholic Women, 5030 Mariner Blvd., will have its general meeting at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 2. Brenda Frazier, community relations coordinator for Hernando County, will be the guest speaker. The group will host a bake sale after the 4 and 6 p.m. Masses on Jan. 12 and a card party at 1 p.m. Jan. 22. A donation of $2 is requested; refreshments will be served.
