Basketball camp set at Wesley Chapel High

Wesley Chapel High School will host a basketball camp over the winter break between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. from Jan. 2 through Jan. 4 for boys and girls in grades six through eight at the school at 30651 Wells Road, Wesley Chapel. Cost is $50.

Winter Fun Camp slated in Land O'Lakes

The Pasco County Parks and Recreation Department and the Land O'Lakes Recreation Complex will have a Winter Fun Camp for children ages 6 to 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from Jan. 2 to 4.

There will be sports, movies, games, arts and crafts and a field trip. Camps will be held at the recreation complex, 3032 Collier Parkway in Land O'Lakes. The cost is $25 per child each week.

Legal assistance available for elderly

Helping the Elderly with Legal Problems (H.E.L.P.) offers legal assistance to people 60 and older who are residents of Pasco County.

Half-hour appointments begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at CARES Claude Pepper Senior Center, 6640 Van Buren St., New Port Richey.

Knights of Columbus to host dinner-dance

The Knights of Columbus Chapter 6476, 2040 Grand Blvd. in Holiday, will offer dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. and dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the hall.
