Man dies after being stabbed

Pinellas Park police reported they were investigating a killing that occurred near a bus stop at 49th Street N and Ulmerton Road on Sunday night.

Police released few details about the incident, but said a man was stabbed and taken to a local hospital.

"We're treating it as a homicide," said Sgt. Scott Golczewski. He said police were searching for a suspect late Sunday.

Police closed down the southbound lanes of 49th Street just south of Ulmerton Road as they investigated.
