High school has reunion for all its class years

PETERSBURG St. Petersburg High School's All-Years Reunion will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, 11 Central Ave. The event will feature a disc jockey, cash bar and food. PETERSBURG Nominate outstanding female volunteers The Queen's Court, which raises money for charities through its Queen of Hearts Ball, is accepting nominations for outstanding female community volunteers through Jan. 5. Names submitted must be sponsored by guilds, auxiliaries or other support groups of nonprofit organizations. For information, call 864-1338. The court also is receiving applications from organizations that serve the St. Petersburg area to receive grants from the 2009 event. To be eligible, charities must be listed under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. Applications may be obtained by calling 576-7999. The submission deadline is Feb. 1.
