lca meets Jan. 2 to elect officers, review annexation survey

The Lealman Community Association meets the first Wednesday of each month. The group's next meeting is Jan. 2. Items on the agenda include election of officers for 2008 and an update on the group's online annexation survey. To participate in the survey, visit www.lcafl.com. Vendors wanted for annual flea market

The Kenneth City Homeowners Association is seeking vendors for its annual community flea market on Feb. 23; tables are available at $5 each and can be reserved by calling Angelo Pizzi at 345-0052. The next meeting of the Kenneth City homeowners Association is the second Tuesday of January.

Library offers board games days for teens

Are your teens looking for something fun to do during the winter break?

Check out the holiday teen games workshop at the Pinellas Park Public Library. Sponsored by the Friends of the Public Library, the program is for students between 11 and 15 who are enrolled in Pinellas schools and have a library card. Wednesday will be games such as Scrabble, Upwords and Hang Man. Thursday's board games will include Monopoly, Careers and Risk. Friday participants will be placed into teams for a game of Library Trivia. Teens have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate or books. Registration is required.

Buddy Liles will sing at Church of the Nazarene

Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee Buddy Liles will appear in concert at the Church of the Nazarene in Pinellas Park on Jan. 6. Liles, who was a member of the Florida Boys Quartet for more than 25 years and also sang with the Orrell Quartet, is best known for his rich, baritone voice.
