Authorities on Wednesday released video of a man robbing a CVS drugstore on U.S. 19. In the clips, the robber walked into the store, at 3511 U.S. 19, just after noon Dec. 13 and headed for the pharmacy. He wore sunglasses, shorts and a plaid dress shirt. A sheriff's report says he demanded several kinds of drugs from a pharmacist, threatening her with physical harm. The pharmacist complied, giving him a bottle of unspecified pills. He then walked out. The robber is described as a white man, 35 to 40, with straight brown hair, missing teeth, between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 11, less than 200 pounds. Detectives also believe he is responsible for another strong-arm robbery that occurred at a CVS at 12015 Little Road in Hudson on Nov. 29 at 10:40 a.m. During this robbery, he used the same method, where he handed the pharmacist a note demanding medications and threatening the pharmacist. Anyone with information about either robbery should call Pasco Detective Chris Beaman at (800) 854-2862, ext. 7841. To view the video, visit www.pasco.tampabay.com.
