All about art: The winter art exhibit runs through Feb. 12 at the Brooksville City Hall Art Gallery, 201 E Howell Ave., Brooksville. The exhibit includes the works of Tony Caparello, Glenna Cofran, Shirley Jacobson, Barbara Kerr, Alberto Juliano, Jessica Miller, David C. Roland, LeAnn Steen and others. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and is free to the public. Call 544-5407.
Back porch music: The Istachatta General Store, 28198 Lingle Road, Istachatta, hosts an all-you-can-eat fish fry and bluegrass jam session featuring the Back Porch Pickers from 4 to 8 p.m. each Friday. Cost for dinner is $7.50 per person and is first-come, first-served. Call 544-1017.

High drama: Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill, will present the drama A Few Good Men on Jan. 10-13, 18-20 and 25-27. Get back: The Hernando Performing Arts Guild will present 1950s and '60s music revue group the Fabulous Hubcaps at 7 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Hernando High School Performing Arts Center, 700 Bell Ave., Brooksville. Bandshell Bash: The Hernando County Fine Arts Council's January Bandshell Bash will feature Tampa rock quartet Crystal Blue from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Hernando Park band shell. Rockin' redux: The Community Performing Arts Guild will present the Legends of Doo Wop, a vocal group featuring Jimmy Gallagher, Tommy Mara, Frank Mancuso and Steve Horn, at 2 and 7 p.m. Jan. 12 at Mariner United Methodist Church, 7079 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Big battle: The Hernando Heritage Museum Association and North Pinellas County Scout Sertoma Club will present the Brooksville Raid Festival and Civil War re-enactment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 19 and 20 at the Sand Hill Scout Reservation on State Road 50, Spring Hill. Daily admission to the event is $6 for adults, $3 for children. Scouts in uniform admitted free. Call 796-6766.
