Need juice? Jamba heads downtown

A Jamba Juice store, Clearwater's second, has opened in the newly rejuvenated downtown business and shopping district.

The business at 432 Cleveland St. offers made-to-order blended smoothies, juices and healthy snacks. Jamba Juice smoothies are made in a variety of sizes with real fruits and fruit juices. Fresh orange juice, carrot juice and lemonade are available, as well as a coffee substitute called Matcha Green Tea. Energizing dietary supplements called boosts can also be added to the drinks.

Jamba Juice, based in Emeryville, Calif., was established in 1990 and incorporated in 1991. It's regarded as a leader in the quick-serve fruit and vegetable juice market. There are more than 600 stores nationwide, of which more than 400 are company owned and operated.

Clearwater's first Jamba Juice store is at Clearwater Mall.

Store hours at the downtown Clearwater location are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 727 443-1614 or visit jambajuice.com.
