Real estate agent Jeff Miller said Thursday he's running for honorary mayor of Wesley Chapel.

WESLEY CHAPEL - Add another candidacy - "Miller for mayor" - to the whole gamut of elections in 2008. Real estate agent Jeff Miller said Thursday he's running for honorary mayor of Wesley Chapel.

It's a ceremonial position that helps raise money for the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce. The winner is whoever raises the most funds by July. Miller's first fundraiser will be held Jan. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cork & Olive on the corner of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and County Line Road.
