Holiday closings

Here is a list of closings for South Pinellas on Monday and Tuesday. Government Federal, state and county offices: Closed Tuesday. City offices: Those of Gulfport, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, North Redington Beach and Redington Shores will be closed Monday and Tuesday. All other city offices will be closed Tuesday. Post offices: Closed Tuesday. Transportation PSTA and DART: Holiday schedule Tuesday. Public services Banks: Closed Tuesday. Courts: Not in session Monday and Tuesday. Schools: Closed through Jan. 4. Libraries: West Community Library at SPC will be closed today through Tuesday. St. Petersburg's Main Library will close at 6 p.m. today and Monday and will be closed Tuesday. All other St. Petersburg libraries will be closed today and Tuesday and will close at 6 p.m. Monday. Pinellas Park and St. Pete Beach libraries will close at 5 p.m. Monday and will be closed Tuesday. Seminole Library will be open Monday and closed Tuesday. All other libraries will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Garbage pickup: In Gulfport, Indian Rocks Beach, St. Petersburg and Treasure Island, Tuesday pickup will be on Wednesday. In Madeira Beach and South Pasadena, garbage will be picked up as usual. In all other cities, Tuesday pickups will be on the next regular pickup day. Residents who contract independently with Waste Services of Florida (572-6800), Waste Management (572-8779) or another collection company should call the company for holiday schedule information. Other closings: Facilities closed Tuesday include the Mahaffey Theater and Coliseum box offices and offices, Boyd Hill Nature Park, , recreation and adult centers, the Sunshine Center and Sunken Gardens offices. The Sunken Gardens attraction will be open. North Shore Pool will close at 2 p.m. Monday and will be closed Tuesday. For water or sewer emergencies, call the Water Resources Department at 893-7261. For police, fire or medical emergencies, dial 911.
