Why? Elastic straps that secure the pad to the shell can come loose. A child could loop the strap around his or her body, resulting in injury.

What models?Touriva 22100TTD, 22100FSN, 22100TIP, 22111FSM AND 22130WAL, and Regal Ride model 22139MON. The outside packaging has a 93-series number.

Heparin Lock Flush Solution

Why? The heparin IV flush syringes are contaminated with Serratia marcescens, which has resulted in serious patient infections.

Company: Dewalt Industrial Tool Why? Trigger switch can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

What models?Model number, description, date code: DC920, Heavy-Duty XRP 1/2" 18 Volt Cordless Drill/Driver, 200723 through 200742; DC930, Heavy-Duty XRP 1/2" 14.4 Volt Cordless Drill/Driver, 200625 -200746; DC935, Heavy-Duty XRP 1/2" 14.4 Volt Cordless Hammerdrill/Drill/Driver, 200627 - 200746; DC936, Heavy-Duty XRP 1/2" 14.4 Volt Cordless Hammerdrill/Drill/Driver, 200635 - 200746; and DC940, Heavy-Duty XRP1/2" 12 Volt Cordless Drill/Driver, 200635 - 200746. The model number is on a sticker on the side of the unit. Date code is embossed on the bottom of the unit. The packaging has a green dot sticker near the UPC label.

Why?: A manufacturing problem could cause incorrect high blood glucose readings.
What models?: The affected lots begin with WK followed by the characters 7D, 7E, 7F or 7G and then followed by a series of other numbers and letters (for example WK7ED3E52C). Contour strips with the following product codes: Meter kit with 10 strips, 1802 and 1802N; bottles of 50 strips, 1820 and 1823; bottles of 25 strips, 1825; bottles of 10 strips, 9578.

Lenox covered warmer dishes with rack

Why?: Flames from the tea candle can extend up the sides of the dish. In addition, a label on the bottom of the dish causes excessive smoke when exposed to the flame. This poses fire and burn hazards.
What models?: This recall involves covered ceramic warmer dishes with a rack and tea light candle. A label with “Lenox” and the SKU number is on the bottom of the warming dish: Holiday, 782673; Winter Greetings, 782697; Holiday Gatherings, 782670; Orchard & Bloom, 783368; Butler’s Pantry, 783357; Butterfly Meadow, 783362.

Why?: The products may contain undeclared and unlabeled allergens. What models?: Cases of 16-ounce jars of “U.S. Low Sodium Beef Base Paste No MSG Added*.” Each case bears the product codes “191806” and “30381E” and the lot code “72108122481,” as well as the establishment number “EST. 2016” inside the USDA mark of inspection. Also, 16-ounce jars of “U.S. Low Sodium Chicken Base Paste No MSG Added*. Each jar label bears the product codes “191805” and “10381E” as well as the establishment number “P-1278” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The lot code “72108122481” is printed on the lower side of the jar.

Why?: If the pressure cookers are not closed properly, the lid can separate and allow hot contents to spill out. This poses a risk of burns.
What models?: Manttra Smart Series five-piece stainless steel multi cooker sets. The set includes a pressure lid, glass lid, steamer basket, wire trivet, and stock/pressure pot. Model/code number 38270 is stamped on the base of the 8-quart stainless steel cooker.

Remington and McQuay “ComfortPac” air conditioners and heat pumps
Company: McQuay International.
Why?: Wires in the heater element can overheat and spark, posing a smoke and fire hazard.
What models?: Remington and McQuay “ComfortPac” Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP) commonly installed in hotels, nursing homes and other commercial locations. These “B” and “B+” vintage electric heat units come in size 12 (12,000 BTU) and size 15 (15,000 BTU). The model numbers included in the recall are: PTAC12B208 KXBA and KXCA; PTAC12B265 MXBA and MXCA; PTHP12B208 KXBA and KXCA; PTHP12B265 MXBA and MXCA; PTAC15B208 KXBA and KXCA; PTAC15B265 MXBA and MXCA; PTHP15B208 KXBA and KXCA; and PTHP15B265 MXBA and MXCA. The model numbers are printed on the product identification plate, which is located underneath the front cover below the control box. The recalled units also have the following numbers on the power cord: 105575703 (208/230V) and 105575803 (265V).

Super magnets
Company: Man’s Trading Co.
Why?: The magnet attached to the bottom of a small toy panda can detach. If swallowed or aspirated by young children, the magnets can attract each other internally and cause intestinal perforations or blockages, which can be fatal.
What models?: The half-inch toys are shaped and painted to resemble pandas. A small magnet is attached to the bottom of the toy. “Super Magnets” and the MTC logo are printed on the front of the packaging. The magnet toys are sold eight to a package.

Sterling silver teething rings

Why?: The silver ball that holds the ring in place can separate and release the beads inside. This poses a choking and aspiration hazard to infants.
What models?: The recalled sterling silver teething rings were sold in three styles: single ring with ball, single ring with heart and ball, and three rings with ball. The hollow ring has small beads inside that make a rattling sound and a ball soldered between the rings.
