No trace found of man off Skyway
Hillsborough County sheriff's investigators were still searching for the body of a young Palm Harbor man who is believed to have jumped off the Sunshine Skyway bridge early Saturday. Dustin Benson, 19, had been arguing with someone on his cell phone when he either jumped or fell from the bridge about 4 a.m., according to sheriff's deputies. The U.S. Coast Guard tried to locate him using several boats and a helicopter but called off the search Saturday afternoon when no body was found. Friends who had been fishing with Benson before the incident said they saw him drop from one of the northbound lanes at a point where the bridge is up to 75 feet high.

Three arrested in robbery of Subway
Three people were arrested Sunday night in the armed robbery of a Subway sandwich shop. Two shots were fired in the robbery, but no one was injured, Hillsborough sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. At 9:18 p.m., two black men with what witnesses described as white T-shirts around their faces entered the Subway at 3208 Lithia Pinecrest Road. They fired two shots, demanded money and fled in a white vehicle with another person, Carter said. Deputies chased the vehicle to the area of Mulrennan Road and Imperial Eagle Drive, where all three suspects ran from the vehicle. They were caught and deputies recovered the money, a handgun and a rifle, Carter said. Further information was not available late Sunday.
