Slain in the line of duty
The Aug. 15, 2007 shooting of Hillsborough Sheriff's deputy Sgt. Ron Harrison marked the 17th local law enforcement agent to have been killed in the line of duty since 1980. Here is a memorial to the local police and sheriffs who laid thier lives on the line.
