USF students under suspicion
Federal prosecutors considered charging Youssef Megahed and two other men with conspiracy to commit terrorism, an FBI agent testified Tuesday during Megahed's deportation hearing in Miami-Dade County.

But the Justice Department and U.S. Attorney's Office in Tampa decided the burden of proof was too high to sustain the charge against Megahed, Ahmed Mohamed and a third man, said Special Agent Frederick Humphries II.
