Overview
Amendment 1 has four major provisions:

1. Increase the exemption for homesteaded homeowners.
2. Make Save Our Homes "portable."
3. Cap property assessment increases for non-homesteaded property at no more than 10 percent annually.
4. Create a new $25,000 property exemption for some business equipment and mobile home property.
