League information
The Magnolia Valley Golf Course has leagues available for public play twice a week.
There is a 9-hole scramble at 3 p.m. Wednesdays for ABCD players.
The course makes up the teams, and the cost is $17, which includes prizes.
The Sunday league starts at 8 a.m. and is an 18-hole, scramble format for ABCD players. The cost is $27, which includes prizes.

Tournaments
Jan. 26: The Heather Golf & Country Club will host a Member-Guest Open House Golf Outing.
There will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with registration at 8. A $10 entry fee will be charged for play, which includes golf, cart and lunch.
No handicap is required for play. A $100 credit will be awarded toward a golf membership.
The day will include prizes and gifts. Local businesses may purchase advertising placards to be placed on each tee for $25. For more information, please call Barbara Phillips at (352) 596-5344.
