ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Bellamy Elementary: (813) 872-5387 The first Bellamy Family Night of 2008 is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chick-fil-A, 6299 W Waters Ave. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of the sales during this time to the school. Bryant Elementary: (813) 356-1645 Prefer not to participate in PTA fundraisers? Join the Family Partnership Program, buy a brick and your family still can be recognized in the school newsletter and Web site. Donations are $100 to $300. Boards for science projects are on sale from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the main office. Colors include red, green, blue, fuchsia and white. Cost is $5.50. Suessical Jr., a Broadway production presented by the school and Music Theatre International, is at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 and 2 at Sickles High School, 7950 Gunn Highway. Cost is $10. Clark Elementary: (813) 631-4333 The Health and Safety Fair and Cougie Olympics will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 26. Activities include a baton relay race, obstacle course and more. There will be a helmet fit check and car and booster seat installation demonstrations. MIDDLE SCHOOLS Adams Middle School: (813) 975-7665 The PTSA is selling blue backsacks with the Warrior logo printed on them for $10. A sample is on display, and orders can be made in the front office. The Parent Teacher Student Association seeks members, especially students. The cost is $6. The steering committee is selling 4- by 8-inch engraved bricks for $25. Have it installed in one of the school's new gardens. Host an exchange student: World Heritage Student Exchange, a public benefit group, is seeking host families for its high school exchange program. Students are high school age boys and girls from France, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Denmark, Italy and Switzerland. The students are fully insured, bring their own personal spending money and expect to bear a share of household chores as well as be included in normal family activities and lifestyles.
