Anniversaries

The Stahleys John and Claire Stahley celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 14, 2007,at a party with family and friends. They were married Oct. 4, 1947,at College Hill Presbyterian Church in Easton, Pa., and came here in 1970. She was a registered nurse at Bayfront Medical Center. He retired as a district sales manager from Quasar and worked in the pro shop at Mangrove Bay Golf Course. During World War II, he served with the 94th Medical Gas Treatment Battalionand she served in the Cadet Nurse Corps. They have been members of Pasadena Presbyterian for 36 years and have four children, nine grandchildren, a stepgrandchild and four great-grandchildren. The Ennors Al and Concetta Ennor celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22, 2007, with friends at their daughter's home in Lutz. They were married on Dec. 22, 1940, in Gretna, La., and moved here in 1977 from St. Louis, where she was a punch press operator and he worked for the city. He served in the Merchant Marines. They enjoy outdoor sports and have a daughter, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. The Hitchcocks Lee and Eileen Hitchcock celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary recently at a dinner with family. They were married on Oct. 21, 1939, in Peoria, Ill., and came to Pinellas County in 1960 from West Haven, Conn. She worked as a secretary and office manager. He retired as president of St. Petersburg Steel Corp. They have two daughters, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
