Clearwater Little League

Registration for the 2008 spring season will be held Friday and Jan. 18 from 6:30-9 p.m., and Saturday and Jan. 18 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Sid Lickton Complex on Saturn Ave. The league is also in need of umpires, coaches, volunteers and certain board positions. For information, call 447-2720.

Largo Little League

The league will hold registration for the spring season Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 3-6 p.m. at the second floor concession stand on Lake Avenue. The league is also seeking umpires and coaches. For information, call 584-5505.

Baseball/softball clinic

Learn how to play like the big leaguers with a clinic at St. Patrick Catholic School, 1501 Trotter Road in Largo. The clinic is Jan. 19 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and features former major leaguer Rob Stanifer. Children in grades K-8th are welcome.
