Learn business savvy from retired executive

For those planning to start a new business, a free program sponsored by the Pasco County Libraries will present key issues for people in Pasco and Hernando counties. Jim Waters, a Service Corps of Retired Executives counselor, will cover structuring, preparing a business plan, cash flow charts and finding money during this free seminar from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Other issues covered at the South Holiday Branch Library, 4649 Mile Stretch Road S, will be how to test and protect ideas, how to file for an occupational license, registering company names and filing for a federal identification number. Chamber to hold membership meeting

The general membership meeting of the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 20735 Leonard Road.
