Matt Haimovitz is the barnstorming cellist. For the past few years, Haimovitz has been giving recitals in bars, pizza parlors and lots of other places where classical music is never heard. This weekend, he is in Tampa to perform selections from his new CD, After Reading Shakespeare, which includes works on literary themes by three Pulitzer Prize-winning composers, Ned Rorem, Paul Moravec and Lewis Spratlan. Haimovitz's concert is at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa, 11400 Morris Bridge Road, Tampa. $12. (813) 988-8188; www.uutampa.org. At 2 p.m. Saturday, the cellist will be playing and signing CDs at Borders, 909 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa.
