Jazz at the lounge: Jazz and blues vocalist Lee Ahlin will perform live tonight and Saturday night at the Take 2 Lounge inside the Tampa Pitcher Show, 14416 N Dale Mabry Highway. Admission is free. Call (813) 963-0578.

Skipper's got the blues: Tab Benoit and Damon Fowler Group will play live tonight at 8 at Skipper's Smokehouse, 910 Skipper Road. The cost is $18 at the door. Call (813) 971-0666.

Winter Art Exhibit: The artwork of Tampa Bay artists, including those with mental and physical disabilities, is on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until Feb. 2 at the Florida Mental Health Institute at USF. The institute is at the northwest corner of the campus. From Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, turn in to the campus on Holly and make a left at the first street. The display is in the south hallway. Cello concert: Classical cellist Matt Haimovitz, who has performed at Juilliard and Carnegie Hall, will perform live at 8 p.m. Saturday at the UU Dome at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa, 11400 Morris Bridge Road. The cost is $12. Call 813 988-8188.

Looking Ahead: Drama at Stageworks: Stageworks presents "A Picasso," a play about "art, sex and politics," Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. from Jan. 17 through Feb. 2 at Gorilla Theater, 4419 N Hubert Ave. On Feb. 3, the show will start at 2 p.m. For reservations, call (813) 879-2914.
