Running: The Westchase TriGals will participate in the Iron Distance Challenge and so can you. The event is a monthlong, self-paced triathlon starting in January. Participants will swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles. Miles are logged and submitted by e-mail. Funds support the Westchase Community Foundation, which helps sick children and their families who live in Westchase. The cost is $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and younger.
