Baseball

Clearwater Little League

Registration for the spring season will be from 9 a.m. to noon today and Jan. 19 and from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Sid Lickton Complex on Saturn Avenue. The league needs umpires, coaches, volunteers and certain board positions. For information, call 447-2720.

Largo Little League

The league will hold registration for the spring season from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the second floor concession stand on Lake Avenue. The league is seeking umpires and coaches. For information, call 584-5505.

Baseball/softball clinic

Learn how to play like the big-leaguers with a clinic at St. Patrick Catholic School, 1501 Trotter Road, Largo. The clinic is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 19 and features former major-leaguer Rob Stanifer. Children in grades K-8 are welcome.
