Belles & Beaus: Laura McLaughlin, Rick Hilton and Bill Crocker combined to shoot a new low score of 47 on the Quarry Golf Course in Brooksville. That is 11 under par for the 18-hole course.
Betty Allen was closest to the pin among women on hole No. 2.
Ken Countryman was the closest among men on hole No. 3.

Magnolia Valley: The Magnolia Valley Golf Course has leagues available for public play twice a week.
There is a nine-hole scramble at 3 p.m. Wednesdays for ABCD players.
The course makes up the teams, and the cost is $19, which includes prizes.
The Sunday league starts at 8 a.m. and is an 18-hole, scramble format for ABCD players. The cost is $35, which includes prizes.
