Hudson

First United Methodist Church, 13123 U.S. 19, will host "Bells & Brass" concert at 4 p.m. Sunday. Bell choirs from First United Methodist Church of Dunedin, with Tom Huffman directing, and Heritage United Methodist Church in Clearwater, Barbara Davis directing, will join the bell choir from the host church with Joanne Kelly directing. Faith United Methodist Church, 12128 State Road 52, offers a supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Covert Hall. St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 7922 State Road 52, offers worship services at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. Sundays with a fellowship hour after each service. Sunday school for children is at 10:45 a.m. Nursery is available for all services. The church will have a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. today at the church. The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for children and includes all the buttermilk pancakes you can eat as well as coffee, juice, eggs, sausage or ham. On Jan. 27, from 12:15 to 2:30 p.m. Dr. Saul Shaye will present a workshop on his spiritual transformation from an atheist to a spiritual healer. Congregation B'nai Emmunah, a Reform Jewish synagogue, 3374 Keystone Road, offers early Shabbat services at 6:45 p.m. the first Shabbat of each month. Life stories and personal faith testimonies of football greats Bart Starr, Anthony Munoz, Tony Dungy and players from this year's Super Bowl teams will be showcased.
