'Dr. Dolittle' musical for kids Sunday

NEW PORT RICHEY - Theatreworks USA and Pasco Schools will present the musical Doctor Dolittle at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey. The live musical is the story of the relationship between Hugh Lofting, a Royal British Army officer who writes about a Doctor Dolittle who talks with animals, and Lofting's young son, Colin, who must finish the Dolittle stories when his dad is injured in battle. Tickets are $5. The show is most suited to ages 8 through 12.
