Christian school will hold open house Feb. 10

BOWser Games seek vendors and crafters

The Pinellas Animal Foundation's sixth annual BOWser Games seeks nonfood vendors, artisans and crafters to participate in the Feb. 9 event.

The games are a celebration of the human/animal bond where dogs and their owners can enjoy agility and disc demonstrations, and fun contests.

Is your pit bull polite? This test will tell you

Is your pit bull a "good citizen"? The SPCA Tampa Bay presents the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test for pit bulls and pit bull mixes who have good manners at home and in the community.

All dogs who pass the 10-step test receive a certificate from the AKC. For every certified dog, the Animal Farm Foundation will give a $150 donation to the SPCA.

Test days are Thursday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. at the SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo. A $10 testing fee will apply. For more information or to register, call 586-3591, ext. 167, or visit www.SPCATampaBay.org.
