Join authors as they read their works

Join bestselling authors Ann Hood (The Knitting Circle), Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone), Laura Lippman (What the Dead Know) and Richard Price (The Wanderers, Clockers, and Freedomland) at the fourth annual Writers in Paradise Conference.

The eight-day conference kicked off Saturday and runs through Jan. 26 at Eckerd College. All readings are scheduled from 8 p.m.-9 p.m. in Miller Auditorium and are free and open to the public.

Eckerd College is at 4200 54th Ave. S in St. Petersburg.

Book sales will precede the readings at 7:30 p.m. Author signings will be held after each reading. Please note that speakers are subject to change.

Jan. 26: Co-directors Dennis Lehane and Sterling Watson will announce the "Best Of" nominees. Winners will be published in Sabal - A Review Featuring the Best Writing of the Writers in Paradise Conference at Eckerd College.
