Help us spread the word

See a feature called Get Out.

It's something we include in every issue that lists all the fun and exciting events going on in our area and beyond. Our hope is you use it to plan your weekend or find a concert or lecture that captures your interest.

But in order to tell you about these events, we have to know about them.

That's where you come in. Nova Beall that's her above with the cool - albeit fake - Largo tattoo on her arm compiles the calendar from e-mails and faxes she receives from people around the county.

She wants to hear from more of you in the Largo area. Want to spread the word about a cool event or get-together your organization is planning? How about a play or art exhibit? Nova is the person you contact. Send her the time, place and a basic description of the event and she'll make sure it appears in Get Out.

Now, we're only looking for events that are open to the public. So save your club meetings for the club news (Nova handles those, too).

Got any questions? Nova would be happy to answer them. Give her a call at (727) 445-4221 or send her a fax at (727) 445-4119. You can also e-mail her at sbeall@sptimes.com or send your information by snail mail to 710 Court St., Clearwater, FL 33756.We can't wait to hear from you.
