Senior menus/Meals on Wheels

Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a nutritious meal and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. Meals include low-fat milk. For information on any of these meal options or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.
Monday: No home deliveries or site openings in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
Tuesday: Baked ziti casserole, carrot cuts, garlic spinach, whole wheat bread with margarine, orange.
Wednesday: Chicken breast Coq au Vin, Potatoes O'Brien, green beans with pimento, whole grain bread with margarine, mixed fruit.
Thursday: Frankfurter with mustard, baked beans and tomato bits, cole slaw with shredded carrots, hot dog bun, warm cinnamon apples.
Friday: Breaded chicken quarter, chuck wagon vegetables, mashed potatoes, whole grain bread with margarine, oatmeal raisin cookie.
