Men's hoops: FSU up next

FSU at Wake Forest When/where: 1; Lawrence Joel Coliseum, Winston-Salem, N.C. TV/radio: Ch.44; 1470-AM Records: FSU 12-6, 1-2 ACC; Wake Forest 11-5, 1-2 Notable: Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton continues to look for his 100th win at FSU and 300th overall. More importantly, he needs his team to snap a two-game losing streak. Both losses, at Clemson and against No.7 Duke, were in excruciating fashion, 97-85 in double OT to the Tigers on Jan.12 then 70-57 when the Blue Devils closed with a 16-2 flurry in the final few moments Wednesday. ... F Ryan Reid, who returned from a nine-game suspension to face Duke, had six points and four rebounds in 18 minutes in that game. He should allow F Uche Echefu to play more on the outside where he's most comfortable. ... The Demon Deacons and first-year coach Dino Gaudio, who took over when Skip Prosser died in July, have lost two straight, but both were on the road. They're 10-0 at home this season (and have won 14 straight there). FSU has played well on the road, winning at Florida and Georgia Tech. ... Wake Forest leads the series 20-15, but FSU won the lone meeting last season, 74-66 in Tallahassee.
