Art festival fundraiser set for Saturday

Art Festival Beth-El opens its 35th annual fundraiser for Temple Beth-El on Saturday with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. for purchase award patrons who contribute a minimum $500 toward art acquisition. There's a reception from 6 to 10 p.m. for benefactors and sustainers who spend between $125 and $250 for art purchases, and a donors reception 7 to 10 p.m.

The festival opens to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

All events take place at Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Ave. S.

Annual Hospice Ball

Bella Venezia, the seventh annual Hospice Ball on Saturday, features dinner, dancing and a silent auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort, 501 Fifth Ave. NE, St. Petersburg. This is a reminder only: Reservations were required, and the event is a sellout. Call 523-3420.

Food, wine, art, entertainment and a silent auction are on the menu at Saturday's Artful Evening of Wine and Food to benefit the Pinellas Animal Foundation and Creative Clay. VIP tickets cost $50 ($80 with guest or per couple); general admission tickets cost $25 ($40 with guest or per couple). VIP admission opens at 6 p.m., general admission at 7 at the Hospice Business Center, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater.
