Neighborhood meeting: The Bayside West neighborhood Association hosts its general business meeting. The Motta Group will give an update on their plans for the redevelopment of the Georgetown Apartment property. Museum volunteer recruitment: The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts hosts a volunteer recruitment drive. Volunteer duties include, but aren't limited to, planning parties and fund-raising events, giving tours and holding classes for children and adults, and participating in the Museum's outreach programs. Diabetes management: Tampa General Hospital offers a class on the basics of diabetes management. Senior Fun Fest: Part of a two-day event, seniors can enjoy more than 200 "senior friendly" exhibits with information on health and wellness, seniors lifestyles, travel and attractions, senior services and more. There will be live entertainment during the "Bandstand Boogie" featuring American Bandstand recording artist Mary Swan. There will also be a grandchild photo contest from submissions by local seniors. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday; Florida State Fairgrounds, Expo Hall, 4800 U.S. Highway 301 N., Tampa; open to the public, free.
