Government
- All federal, state, county and city offices, except police and fire departments, will be closed.
- Federal and state courts will be closed.
Buses and streetcars
- HARTLINE and HARTplus will operate on a Saturday schedule. - The TECO Line Streetcar System will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Shopping malls
- The following malls will operate on normal business hours: WestShore Plaza, International Plaza, University Mall, Westfield Citrus Park and Westfield Brandon.
Garbage collection
- City of Tampa residential garbage, curbside recycling and special service routes will not have pickup today. All routes will be one day late and return to normal schedule Thursday. Commercial routes will run one day late through Saturday. The Manhattan Brush Site will be closed and the McKay Bay Transfer Station/Scalehouse will be open until noon today.
- Temple Terrace Public Works Department offices will be closed today. There will be no residential garbage collection or curbside recycling. Collections resume Thursday. Commercial garbage collection will not be affected.
- Hillsborough County garbage collection won't be affected.
Utilities
- Verizon Customer Service, Verizon Wireless and Verizon Plus stores all will be open.
- Tampa Electric and People's Gas offices will be open.
Post office, mail delivery
All post offices will be closed except for the Tampa International Airport office, which will be open 6 a.m. to midnight.
Schools
- All Hillsborough County public schools will be closed.
- Hillsborough Community College, University of Tampa and University of South Florida offices will be closed.
Libraries
All public libraries will be closed.
Banks
All banks will be closed.
Attractions, museums
- The Florida Aquarium will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Busch Gardens will be open9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Lowry Park Zoo will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Recreation
- Ben T. Davis Beach and Picnic Island Beach will be open.
- Sandra W. Freedman Tennis Complex and HCC Tennis Complex will be open normal hours.
- All city pools, community centers and art studios will be closed.
Hillsborough County Recreation Department: All recreation centers and playgrounds will be closed.
Regional parks: All parks will be open.
