LARGO - Egypt Thomas and LaShae Bynum found their groove Wednesday night - at Lakewood's expense. Thomas and Bynum each scored 24 in Largo's 77-57 victory over the Spartans. Thomas, a transfer from Seminole, was in top form early, scoring 20 in the first half. She left in the second half with leg cramps and did not return. No problem. Bynum, who was playing against her former school, came through with 16 in the second half. "As a guard, my job is to set other players and step up when my team needs me," Bynum said. The Packers (15-4) had four players reach double figures and sealed the win midway through the fourth quarter. Lakewood (13-6) was led by Kerah Nelson, who had 25 points before fouling in the final three minutes.
