Brinson rejects FSU, stays firm with commitment
Though he committed to Iowa last month, Northeast's Jeff Brinson always was interested in attending FSU. Now, the Seminoles are interested in him.
FSU recruiter Lawrence Dawsey stopped by Brinson's house last week. Brinson didn't receive an offer, only a chance to visit.
He declined.
"I don't think that would sway me," Brinson said.
Brinson went to Iowa the first weekend in December and was sold. He committed days later and canceled the rest of his visits.
"I'm happy with my decision," he said.
