BROOKSVILLE
Brooksville Wesleyan Church, 8168 Jasmine Drive, will host gospel recording artist Steve Green in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday. Green has had 13 No. 1 radio songs, seven Dove awards and four Grammy nominations. His latest release, Always - Songs of Worship, features a collection of contemporary worship favorites as well as new songs. There is no admission charge; an offering will be taken. Call 799-0849.
The Biker Worship Center will meet from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at Marine Corps League Detachment 708, 8405 Sunshine Grove Road. Those arriving early may eat breakfast for $4 and participate in fellowship. Call Buzz at 799-1165 or Chris at 398-9542.
Anchor Baptist Church, 77 Lucas Drive, will host the River Jordan Quartet at the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. services Sunday. The quartet sings Southern gospel with low bass, high tenor and smooth harmony. For information, call church pastor Ray Woodward at 232-8880.
Christ Lutheran Church, 475 North Ave., will host a recital of baroque and romantic music played by classical organist John Fenstermaker at 7 p.m. Feb. 8. An offering will be taken in lieu of an admission charge. Call 796-8331.
SPRING HILL
Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 235 Cobblestone Drive, will host tenor Paul Pitts in concert at 10:40 a.m. Feb. 3. Known as the "Pavarotti of Christian Music," Pitts has performed more than 5,000 concerts worldwide, including appearances on radio and television. He was the featured soloist for the Concert of Peace in Belfast, Northern Ireland, drawing praise from the president of the United States and the queen of England. First United Methodist Church, 9344 Spring Hill Drive, will host composer-conductor Joseph Martin in concert at 3 p.m. Feb. 3. Martin has written more than 1,000 anthems and has received a Dove award nomination for piano performance in contemporary Christian music. At the concert, the 75-voice church choir will perform sacred compositions under the direction of Martin, who will also perform his piano compositions. The Baha'is of Hernando County will host the "Tranquility Zone," a place of rest and reflection with inspiring words and soothing music, at 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd. Transportation is available. Call 666-7280.
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2301 Deltona Blvd., will host divorce care at 7:30 p.m. Mondays beginning next week. Call Susan Bruno at 686-4602.
