Celma Mastry award lauds volunteerism

Members of the family of the late Celma Mastry will present the inaugural award of excellence for volunteerism at a Thursday Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation breakfast at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, 11 Central Ave. The event starts at 7 a.m. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted. Brophy's Bash helps kids with diabetes

The first Brophy's Bash to Beat Juvenile Diabetes will feature music, an art walk, food and drinks Saturday at Brophy's Bistro, 1353 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg.
