Where do you want to shop?

By Times Staff Writer
Published January 27, 2008

Talks of a Tropicana Field remake and ongoing downtown development spark visions of upscale boutiques and shops in St. Petersburg. Maybe they'll come and maybe they won't, but Neighborhood Times figured it would be good to find out what residents would want in the South Core garage or a new mall that could replace the ballpark. Simply put, what types of stores would you most want to be downtown, somewhere between the interstate and the waterfront? Dream big. The retail outlets that win the most favor from you, the consumer, will get a call from the Times asking if they'd like to come to town. Trader Joe's? Ikea? Wegmans? Macy's?
