Clearwater Masonic Lodge 127 Free and Accepted Masons installed its 2008 officers Jan. 5. The installing officer was Most Worshipful Past Grand Master of Florida Elmer Coffman, assisted by Right Worshipful Ed Phero and Worshipful Steiner Humrick of Clearwater Lodge. The 2008 elected officers were Worshipful Jon P. Vonderau as worshipful master; Joseph Gondos as senior warden; Glen B. Bishop as junior warden; David W. Griffin as treasurer; and Russell P. LeMar as secretary. The appointed officers installed were Worshipful Bryant Davis as chaplain; Worshipful Steiner Humrick as marshal; Paul L. Smith as senior deacon; Mike Lever as junior deacon; Worshipful Arthur Barker as senior stewart; John A. Liallios as junior stewart; Worshipful Mark LeMacher as musician; David V. Soderland as tyler; Right Worshipful Sam Lampson as officer at large; and Right Worshipful Ed Phero as ritualist. * * * The Palm Harbor Newcomers Alumnae and Friends Club will hold its monthly meeting at 11 a.m. Feb. 7 at East Lake Woodlands Country Club, 1005 East Lake Parkway, Oldsmar. Following lunch, speaker Michael Polin of Art Stone Orchids will give an informative talk on growing and caring for orchids. All are welcome to attend. Cost is $16 and valet parking is available. Members' samples will be on display. The chapter meets the first Friday of each month.
