In preparing for the local issues on the ballot in Tuesday's presidential primary, the Times editorial department has interviewed the candidates running for office in Clearwater and Safety Harbor and studied the City Charter amendment questions on the ballot in Clearwater. The newspaper previously published its detailed recommendations. Here is a summary:

Charter amendments: Yes on all 6 questions

SAFETY HARBOR

For City Commission Seat 3: Nadine Nickeson
