Irene Hurst
Director of MBA programs, University of South Florida College of Business
Irene Hurst assumes her new role at the University of South Florida after serving as director of the USF Small Business Development Center. Hurst is on committees for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Minority Economic Development of Tampa Bay Corp., Tampa Crossroads, STAR Technology Enterprise Center and the USF Federal Credit Union. She won the 2006 Women Business of the Year award for the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay and writes a column for the Maddux Business Report. Hurst earned a psychology degree from the University of Indonesia and a master's in business administration from USF.
Anne Miranda Sirois
Hospitalist program director, Oak Hill Hospital
Nurse practitioner Anne Miranda Sirois joins Oak Hill Hospital of Spring Hill from Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Mass., where she was a program manager for the hospitalist program. Sirois earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Salem State College in Massachusetts and a master's in nursing/adult nurse practitioner from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. She is a member of the Society for Hospital Medicine, Sigma Theta Tao International, Nurses Honor Society-Theta Kappa Chapter, the Academy of Certified Case Managers and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Maria Hubert
Vice president, marketing and public relations, IntegraScreen Americas Inc.
Maria Hubert, who has 17 years of marketing and sales experience, joins IntegraScreen Americas Inc., a St. Petersburg vendor screening company, from the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, where she was director of international affairs. Hubert started her career as an international economist for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Hubert has been a project manager at TECO and an export development manager for the U.S. Agency for International Development. Hubert earned a master's degree in international economics from Johns Hopkins University and bachelor's in international politics from Georgetown University.
Brett Craig
President, Transitions Optical Inc.
Brett Craig has been promoted at Transitions Optical Inc., a Pinellas Park manufacturer of optical lenses. Craig joined Transitions in 1999 as managing director, Asia Pacific, moved to managing director EMEA and has been acting chief operating officer since June 2006. Craig earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin and a master's of business administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.

Brent Adams has been named an employee benefit specialist at Lassiter-Ware Insurance, Tampa. Adams was a sales consultant at Bouchard Insurance, Clearwater.
