Square dancing: Learn to dance and meet people at the Temple Twirlers Square Dance Club from 4:45 to 6:45 p.m. Saturdays at 19012 First St. SW in Lutz. The first night is free. The cost is $4.

Line dancing: The Northdale OWLS Older, Wiser, Lively Seniors line dancing season has begun at Northdale Park, 15500 Spring Pine Drive. Beginner classes are 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays, and intermediate classes are 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Thursdays. The cost is $4. Call (813) 259-1704.

Fun run: Help support the Wishes for Wharton Foundation by entering the Wharton High School Wildcats 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun run. The event starts at 7 a.m. Feb. 16 at Live Oak Preserve, 20150 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. The cost for the 5K is $10 for students and $20 day of race; the fun run is $5.
