Talent and scholarships: Ticket to Broadway,a variety show featuring Pasco County high school students, will be presented at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Tickets are $10. Proceeds go to scholarships for students who plan to get a college degree in the performing arts.
Featuring Florida seniors: "Wisdom of the Ages," photographs of Florida's elder citizens accompanied by audio in their own words, will be the exhibit today through Feb. 28 at Pasco-Hernando Community College's fine art gallery in the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library on the New Port Richey campus, 10230 Ridge Road. Viewing hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Call (727) 816-3229. A reception will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday with big-band music, food and memorabilia.
Weird thrills and chills: The Forum at Stage West Community Playhouse will present the mystery thriller Veronica's Room at 8 p.m. today, Saturday and Feb. 8 and 9, and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Feb. 10. The theater is at 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Tickets are $10. Recommended for mature audiences. Before the Rat Pack, Brat Pack and Frat Pack: Legends of Vaudeville, a tribute to Jimmy Durante, Al Jolson and others, will be offered at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pasco-Hernando Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Free movie: Star Wars will be shown at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The film is part of the Meighan Classic series, sponsored by the New Port Richey Library and the theater. Free.
Strike up the band: Richey Concert Band will give a concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey. The program includes highlights from Carousel and other light favorites. Admission is $2 at the door. Parking is free. Future concerts are March 2, April 6 and May 4, all at the center.
Making songs her own: Singer Susan Falcone will be featured in "Cover to Cover" at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey.
